Miniso punya parfum yang wanginya mirip dengan Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia! Beneran miripkah wanginya? Ini review-nya! Rasanya ini artikel Friday Fragrance yang paling ditunggu-tunggu deh, hehe. Kurang lebih sudah satu bulan lalu saya diminta untuk review perbandingan antara parfum Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia dan Miniso British Pear. Katanya, kedua parfum ini wanginya mirip banget. Dari segi perbandingan harga sih jelas jauh, harga Jo Malone Rp kalau beli di luar London, sedangkan parfum Miniso berkisar Tapi gimana dengan wanginya? Apakah parfum Miniso ini wanginya sama enaknya seperti parfum mahal dari Jo Malone? Yuk, langsung kita bahas aja. Sejujurnya, ketika mendapatkan parfum Miniso ini saya nggak punya ekspektasi yang terlalu tinggi. Karena sebelumya saya sudah punya parfum Miniso lainnya dan saya kurang suka, karena alkohol yang terlalu kencang dan ditambah wanginya menyengat banget. Tapi ternyata beda kasusnya dengan Miniso British Pear ini. Ternyata kualitas parfumnya lebih bagus dibandingkan dengan parfum Miniso saya yang terdahulu. Kalau dilihat dari website Jo Malone London untuk wangi English Pear & Freesia, parfum ini didominasi dengan wangi buah pir, bunga freesia dan ditutup dengan aroma hangat dari amber serta patchouli. Jadi untuk aromanya sendiri lebih ke wangi manis ciri khas parfum-parfum perempuan. Makanya ini menjadi salah satu wangi top seller dari Jo Malone. Lalu, gimana dengan komposisi wangi Miniso British Pear? Kalau yang dilihat dari situs Miniso Australia, wewangian ini adalah kombinasi dari aroma pear, apple, lychee, citrus, freesia, peony, amber dan patchouli. Well, kalau dibandingkan komposisi aromanya memang sedikit banyak ada kemiripan, ya. Jadi, sama kah wangi kedua parfum ini? Kalau nggak disandingin menurut saya wanginya 95% mirip! Tapi kalau sudah disandingan sebelahan akan tercium beda antara wangi Miniso British Pear dan Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia. Perbedaan pertama adalah wangi dari Jo Malone lebih strong dan woody. Kedua adalah ketahanan wanginya, kalau parfum Jo Malone menurut saya hanya awet maksimal empat jam pemakaian, dan setelahnya wanginya akan tipis hampir nggak tercium. Sedangkan Miniso wanginya jauh lebih awet dengan takaran pemakaian yang sama! Kalau memang kamu suka wangi parfum Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia, tapi nggak ingin splurge uang sebanyak itu hanya untuk parfum, menurut saya Miniso British Pear bisa jadi alternatifnya. Oh ya, untuk Miniso British Pear ini hanya ada di Miniso luar saja, dan negara paling terdekat bisa beli Miniso Thailand. Atau kalau kamu nggak mau repot, kayanya juga sudah cukup banyak kok jastip yang menawarkan pembelian Miniso British Pear ini. Adakah di sini yang sudah punya parfum Miniso British Pear?

Is there any Indonesian beauty enthusiasts out there that don’t know about the Jo Malone dupe line from Miniso just yet? If you’ve read my reviews since the first time I started my beauty account on Instagram or even Female Daily, then you know that I already reviewed two variants from this line. And now, I’m going to review another variant from the same line. This variant is the best seller because people love it so much. In fact, it is the variant that made this perfume line became popular in the first place. Yep, it is Miniso British Pear! It’s a little bit too late to review this product, isn’t it? Hahaha. It’s because I had no interest at all on this variant, but one day, a few weeks ago, I found this scent quite interesting. By the way, this variant is well known as Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia dupe. I was wondering, how similar are these two? Because if the Miniso one is very similar to Jo Malone’s, then it is a steal for us low budget beauty enthusiasts ;p Price IDR59,000. Packaging A glass bottle with pretty and minimalist design. The size is small makes it easy to carry. Notes Top pear/apple, lychee, citrus/hesperidic Middle freesia, peony, transparent floral Base musky, amber, patchouli Sillage & Longevity Soft sillage & weak to moderate longevity. Compared to the Italian Bergamot variant, this British Pear variant is softer so of course, it has weaker longevity. For an EDT and its price, though, 4~6 hours longevity is enough for me. Result I was confused myself why I suddenly like this scent since I didn’t fancy it at all at first. It’s a fresh and not overwhelming scent. A fresh, fruity type of scent with a hint of floral. It can be a little bit too much when first sprayed, but it doesn’t take long for it to settle down and becomes softer. Even though there is amber in the base note, but I don’t spot any strong sweet scent. For a fresh type of scent like this, this perfume has quite good longevity 4-6 hours indoor. I don’t have the Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia, but I sprayed it once to my wrist when I visited their counter in a mall. I was pretty shocked because they’re very similar! Of course, there have to be some differences, such as the opening scent and the scent when it dries down. If I’m not mistaken, the opening scent of Miniso is more fruity, and Jo Malone has more depth when it dries. For the longevity of Jo Malone, well, I can’t tell because I just had one spray on the wrist and I travelled using motorbike afterwards. But remembering that Jo Malone is a cologne, which theoretically supposed to be weaker than an EDT, then I guess the longevity is not that different. For the very big price gap, I think the Miniso one is very interesting to try! Pros + a fresh, fruity scent with a hint of floral that is not overwhelming + very affordable + dupe for Jo Malone - English Pear & Freesia + a minimalist packaging, design and size-wise + easy to carry Cons - even though I don’t put much expectation for it, I still think it’d be better if it has better sillage Overall rating 5/5 I remember clearly that everyone talked about this perfume at the beginning or middle of last year.
